Ever since I started listening to rock and metal I’ve felt like an outcast because of my musical taste. Only a few of my friends were into metal and ever since I started playing guitar I could never play in public because everyone wanted me to play the mainstream songs which I never liked or learned. A few months ago I finally got a chance to play live at Lok Virsa because of some really supportive and helpful friends. The response from the audience was far from what Iwas expecting. After playing live I finally overcame my shyness and I really started believing in myself. It made me realize that you do not have to develop new skills to have your own identity, instead you have to hone the skills which you already have and make a name for your own self.
